WhatStack does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). All detection logic runs locally within your browser. We do not track your browsing history or send your data to any external servers.

The extension requires the following permissions to function:

• activeTab: To analyze the technology stack of the website you are currently viewing.
• scripting: To execute the detection logic on the page.
• storage: To save your scan history locally on your device (Pro feature).

3. Data Usage Certifications

In accordance with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, we certify that:

• No Sale of Data: We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
• Single Purpose Use: We do not use or transfer user data for purposes that are unrelated to the extension's single purpose (technology detection).
• No Creditworthiness Analysis: We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

4. Data Security

Since no data is collected or transmitted, your data remains secure within your local browser environment. We do not use remote code; all logic is bundled within the extension package.
